Why we built it

Hi, I'm Jeremy Ruutel — a building operator and tradesperson who was tired of losing valuable time chasing equipment information through paperwork, emails, spreadsheets, manufacturer PDFs and several work-request systems.
I wanted one simple tool on my phone where I could observe, inspect, log, delegate and report, all in one place. So, after plenty of late nights and probably a few too many energy drinks, I built AssetVitals.
It is shaped by my own time in mechanical rooms, completing equipment inspections and monitoring preventive maintenance. My goal is simple: help building teams keep valuable asset knowledge organized and digital, make better maintenance decisions, and spend less time hunting for information. In the end, to save time and money.
